Course Outline

The 250-hour TESOL Diploma program will teach you how to use various lesson planning formats for different levels, how to use various approaches within the Communicative Language Teaching method, and how to fully replace the textbook with authentic material. By the end of this course, you will have the skills to adapt to any curriculum in the world and customize the lessons to your students’ needs. This program also provides the most comprehensive training in grammar and phonology.

Students can enroll the 20-Hour Teaching Practicum at CAD$350 upon completion of 250-hour TESOL Diploma.

Save CAD$250 in the Teaching Practicum! Students can add the 20-hour Teaching Practicum for CAD$100 when they enroll in the TESOL course. The original price of the Teaching Practicum is CAD$350 for those who enroll separately after completing the TESOL course.

Accreditation for TESOL Distance Education Courses (ACTDEC)
ACTDEC is an independent body whose function is to provide frameworks and accreditation structures for providers of ELT teacher training through online or blended provision. This mission is motivated by recognition of the need for such globally available provision to be measured and monitored for the benefit of course providers, employers and students.

Graduates can also receive an ACTDEC certificate when they register with ACTDEC and pay a CAD$85 fee.

Lesson Planning Skills

In this course, the student will do 7 major Communicative Approach, Integrated Skills, and Task-based Learning lesson plans on grammar and vocabulary topics for speaking, listening, writing, and reading lessons.
